Gustavus Adolphus - Softball Camps

Save the Date -- Feb 17th, 2018 -- Excitement builds as the spring season approaches for all ages.  The Gustavus Winter Softball camp is the 'unoffical' start of the spring softball season.   The camp is a concentrated day of softball with a focus on just in time skills development for all campers.   Older campers will also have the chance to work 1:1 with coaches and college players to refine and enhance their off season skill development work or address a concern/issue.  This camp is also a great time to meet the coaches and collegiate athletes -- see the Gustie culture in action and ask questions about student-athlete life.   For the younger players - this is a great camp to reintroduce and expand on core softball skills and IQ.  In addition - Pitchers / Catchers will have a small group activity with coaches and athletes.

The Gustavus Adolphus Softball Program competes in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). The softball program is led by Head Coach Britt Stewart, in her second season at Gustavus Adolphus College. Last year Gustavus finished their year with a 23-17 record. Britt is assisted by Kyhl Thomson (10th season) and 2011 alumni Kirsten Prunty in her 1st season with the Golden Gusties. Gustavus Softball has won three MIAC championships in its longevity as a program including a third place finish at the 2009 NCAA College World Series.
